Welcome from Jacqueline

Welcome to the Parents of Room One students! My name is Jacqueline—please call me Jacqueline or JJ. I have two daughters—Molly and Ella. Like you, my daughters keep me very busy and I am fully aware of the  challenges and rewards that come with   parenting. I know how precious your children are to you and I promise to do my very best to provide a quality learning programme and experience for your child.

I have enjoyed setting up Room One so it is an inviting, stimulating and  challenging  learning environment where the children will develop self  confidence and awareness and experience regular and continued success.  By making learning fun, sometimes the children are enjoying themselves so much, they don’t realise how hard they are  working!

I also have additional responsibilities at Central School as  Assistant Principal and Syndicate Leader. I am  experienced in this role so and can effectively juggle my leadership and    teaching  responsibilities. On Thursday when I am released from class Amanda Larsen will teach Room One to ensure consistency in teaching and learning for the children.

I do have high expectations around learning and behaviour and set very clear and consistent boundaries in the classroom and playground. I will always let you know if I have any concerns about your child. Please see me as soon as possible if you have any concerns so issues do not escalate. If you have an important/private issue to discuss please make an appointment with me so we have no  distractions.

I am looking forward to having a positive and successful year with your child.

Yours in Learning
Jacqueline
(Passionate Teacher)
